Want to pay Sun Life online through your BPI Bills Payment facility? Of course you can.
Most VUL accounts (and even traditional life insurance accounts) lapse and some of them even terminate permanently (thereby eliminating your overall benefits) because of inconsistency in depositing. Why does inconsistency happen?
It’s because of two factors: inconvenience of the deposit method and forgetfulness of the depositor.
These two obstacles can easily be trumped, if you choose to pay your Sun Life online instead.
How do we go about this procedure?
Here’s a step-by-step process:
1. Log in to your BPI Express Online account.
Go here and click on the Personal Login button.
Fill in your login details, such as your username and password.
2. Click on Payments and Reloading
After clicking on Payments and Reloading, click on Bills Payment -> Enroll All Other Bills so that you can continue registering your Sun Life VUL account online.
3. Fill out the form!
Your ATM Card Number – choose which ATM card you want your deposit to be deducted from
Joint Account Indicator (JAI) No – located at the lower right hand part of your ATM card across your name
Company Name – SUN LIFE OF CANADA (SUNLIF)
Reference Number – this is your Policy Number which can be found at your Sun Life contract. (If you’re my client, you can also message me, your financial advisor, to give you your policy number.)
Don’t forget to click “Submit”!
4. Wait for the Confirmation Page
You would also receive an email from BPI Express Online to confirm your Sun Life registration in their Bills Payment feature. After receiving this, you can already start and pay Sun Life online by using BPI’s facility.
There you go! You can actually start depositing to your Sun Life VUL account or your Sun Life Traditional (Term/Whole) Life Insurance account via BPI Express Online.
This is convenient, as you don’t need to line up in the bank anymore. And it’s also helpful when you forget your policy number, as it’s already registered online.
